Blend’s MX Concrete Agitator is designed for use inside tunnels, ensuring constant and homogeneous mixing of materials. Powered by a diesel or electric engine mounted on board, the high-efficiency Hardox® mixer in the hopper guarantees the quality of the mix.

UNIQUE AND CUSTOMIZABLE SOLUTIONS FOR CONCRETE AGITATION – A CASE STUDY

For the construction of the dual-tube tunnel in Monte Ceneri, Switzerland, each stretching 15.4 km, Blend provided six concrete agitators that were transported via rail wagons. The unique tunnel shape and specific laying method necessitated the development of the MX08 agitator by Blend, specifically for GCF. This was done to expedite the casting process while adhering to the safety standards set by the client, thereby guaranteeing high-quality concrete.
